After Audi officially introduced its biggest SUV, everyone is now starting to wait for sports variants, including the top RS Q8.
So far, the only Audi of the SUV range that has an RS version is the small Q3. This may change soon as the German manufacturer patented the RS Q8 name last year before the release of the Q8.
When the car arrives on the market, it will compete with the BMW X6 M and Mercedes-AMG GLE 63. The car will receive a much more aggressive body-kit, widened wheel arches, larger rims, a more efficient braking system and, traditionally for RS models, two huge exhaust pipes. The first render of the model can be admired thanks to the X-Tomi Design.
Considering that the Audi Q8 is based on the Lamborghini Urus, presented a few months ago, under the hood of the top RS version there will most probably be a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, which generates 650 PS (641 HP) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft). A similar situation has already occurred with the Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 and Audi R8 Plus.
