Recently in Germany accidents of prototype vehicles have become popular. After the smashed BMW 8 Series, the time has come for the Pagani Huayra.
According to the police, a 37-year-old test vehicle driver lost control of his car due to too sudden acceleration after leaving the road works zone. The car flew off the road and ended up in roadside bushes, as we can see in the photo. Unfortunately, there is only one photo available, which makes it impossible to know how badly the car was damaged.
As some other media report, this particular prototype could test new drive components due to the fact that it has a German license plate instead of an Italian one, and that the accident took place near AMG’s office in Affalterbach.
As we know, Pagani is currently working on the successor to the Huayra . Once again, the Italian supercar is to be equipped with an engine delivered by AMG. Again, it will be a 6-litre twin-turbocharged V12, but with more power than before. The car is expected to appear at the beginning of the new decade. In 2025 the second model will be on sale, but this time it will be fully electric and will compete with such cars as Rimac C_Two and Tesla Roadster.
Offenbar war die #Beschleunigung des Wagens so stark, dass der 37-jährige Fahrer die #Kontrolle verlor, Der Sachschaden wird auf mehrere #hunderttausend #Euro geschätzt.
