The $400,000 worth supercar burned down after a driver of a minivan standing next to it ripped off his fuel pistol.
A few hours ago, a very sad incident took place in St. Louis, Missouri. The beautiful blue Lamborghini Huracán Performante was burned entirely while refuelling at the petrol station.
The cause of the fire was the behaviour of an inattentive minivan driver. He left the station without taking out the pistol from the fuel tank and ripped it out of the distributor. Unfortunately, the fuel started to spill on the station grounds and on the Lamborghini located near it. Because it was very hot and had a hot engine cover and exhaust pipes, it led to self-ignition and a few seconds later the blue Lambo was a huge fireball.
The owners of the two standing Lamborghini were at the time of the incident in the station building, and there was no one next door, so nobody was injured. The police have already stopped the minivan driver and he will be responsible for the damage to the property of the petrol station and the $400 000 Lambo Huracán Performante.
