The drawings of the upcoming new coupe from Cadillac leaked from the patent office.
Cadillac currently has one coupe in its range, which unfortunately does not sell very well. As we can see from the latest leak from the US patent office, a new two-door model can soon be added to the US manufacturer’s portfolio.
The car in the pictures below is probably the upcoming concept model, which will preview the production version. This is due to the fact that the car has very small side mirrors, which are most probably cameras, no exhaust pipe and completely different front lights than in the current models. The front fascia looks like it was taken straight from the 2016 Escal Concept.
It can also be a preview (or a production version) of a new model from the Cadillac range of electric vehicles. General Motors announced at the end of last year that it is currently developing 11 new electric models, and when Bolt EV was revealed, the upcoming cars appeared in the background of the first photo. One of them was the mysterious coupe.
So far, the date of the premiere of the new model is unknown. History has shown that Cadillac reveals its concepts during the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, so it can be expected that it will be the same with this one. The next edition of the event will take place on August 26th.
