The two presenters of the Grand Tour had the unique opportunity to check out a prototype of the Apollo IE supercar.
The Apollo Intense Emotion is a unique supercar that is currently in the development phase of its first prototype. The car looks like a spaceship, and despite existing recordings with the car, many people believe that these are only computer visualizations.
Now it’s time to explain everything – Apollo IE exists and runs. Under the hood of a space-looking supercar there is a 6.3-litre V12 with 780 hp and 758 Nm of maximum torque. Combined with a weight of only 1,250 kg, this allows a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and a maximum speed of 333 km/h.
The prototype has been recently introduced to The Grand Tour presenters – James May and Richard Hammond. Everything took place as part of the new show of the blogger Supercar Blondie, who in a 20-minute episode talked with presenters and asked questions about Apollo IE.
