After two years of absence, Z4 returned to the BMW range.
Following many leaks, spy pictures and even photos from a closed presentation, the new Z4 was officially revealed by BMW. It’s third generation debuted in Pebble Beach with the flagship M40i First Edition.
The car looks very good and we can see many references to the new BMW 8 Series, which features wide kidneys, completely new headlights, a number of sharp ribbing and a boot lid with gentle spoiler.
The M40i version is equipped with a 3-litre 6-cylinder petrol engine with a power of 340 PS (250 kW), which allows a sprint from 0 to 60 km/h in 4.4 seconds.
In the future, further Z4 variants will be introduced. We have been talking for some time about the 30i variant, which will have a 2-litre engine under the hood with a power of around 250 PS.
The official public debut of the new BMW Z4 will take place at the beginning of October during the Paris Motor Show. Then we will also learn more technical details and provide you with photos straight from the premiere.
