During this year’s Paris Motor Show, Porsche showed the new 911 Speedster concept and officially confirmed the launch of the model.
After many unofficial announcements, we have finally confirmed information that Porsche will launch a new Speedster. The German manufacturer and this news presented a new concept of this model in Paris.
Painted in blood red, the car looks like it’s ready for production. The car is based on the 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet and uses suspension from the top 911 GT3.
When it comes to design, there is no surprise. What is special about the car and will certainly be changed in the production version, are side mirrors, red daylight and a fuel filler located centrally on the bonnet.
The production version of the unique Porsche 911 will be limited to just 1948 copies. Why exactly 1948? This is a reference to the year in which the first Porsche 356 was licensed for production.
