Here is the first McLaren Senna who had a close meeting with the wall.
The moment of picking up a new car from the showroom is an incredible time for everybody, not only hardcore fans of automobiles. After all, a car is usually one of the most valuable things we have through our lives. All of this is exacerbated when we leave the dealer of luxury or strictly sport cars. A resident of Munich, who recently picked up his McLaren Senna, would have survived a wonderful day, but soon after picking up the car he drove it into the wall.
Looking at the picture of the incident, we can see that the driver lost control of the car during a sudden acceleration or exit from a corner. McLaren threw it backwards, the owner reacted incorrectly, or did it too late and hit the wall on the right side of the road.
The impact was so strong that airbags were fired. The front of the machine, however, does not seem to be badly damaged. Larger damage may be on the left side of the bumper, but we can’t see this when we look at the only photograph from the incident below. Of course, nothing happened to the driver, except for the damage on the honour.
Let’s recall that McLaren plans to build only 500 units of the Senna model. The car is powered by a 4-litre V8 twin-turbo engine, capable of generating 789 horsepower and 800 Nm. The unladen weight of the vehicle is only 1198 kilograms. Among the more interesting elements that the company used in the construction of the machine we can mention carbon-ceramic brake callipers, which take 7 months to manufacture for one piece. Let’s add that when buying McLaren adjusts the seats of our car individually to us.
