Premiere of the BMW M340i will take place at the end of this month.
BMW will soon officially introduce the announced version of the new Series 3. The model marked M340i will be the strongest version below the incoming M3.
Under the bonnet there will be a 3-litre, 6-cylinder inline engine with a power of 374 hp and 500 Nm of maximum torque. Compared to the previous generation, this is an increase in power by 48 hp and 50 Nm. The drive can only be transferred to the rear axle or to both axles by opting for the xDrive version.
In terms of performance, the new M340i accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds, which is 0.5 seconds better than the previous generation. This is due, among other things, to the reduced tare weight of 55 kg, as well as the 8-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission equipped with Launch Control.
The premiere of the model will take place at the Los Angeles Motor Show, which begins on 28 November.
