One of the prototype models of the upcoming BMW 8 Series was completely destroyed in a fatal accident this weekend.
BMW is planning to introduce the production version of the 8 Series in the next few days. The car is promising very well and it certainly will be a hit for the German manufacturer. Despite not having sold a single car yet, one has already been involved in a serious accident in which a passenger died on the spot.
Unofficial information shows that one of the prototypes driven by a BMW test driver, carrying his girlfriend’s mother, lost control of the car and then rolled over. Nothing serious happened to the driver, but unfortunately a 53-year-old passenger died on the scene with serious head injuries. German media suggest that she did not wear seat belts.
Two fire trucks arrived at the scene of the accident, and the firefighters had to cut the body to get out the body. The recording is available below thanks to BR24.
