The Grand Tour is constantly recording new materials for the third season. In one of them the F1 Champion, Sebastian Vettel, will appear.
Richard Hammond and James May were recently caught shooting new material for the third season of The Grand Tour. In the neighborhood of London we could meet the team of The Grand Tour, which records material using private cars of presenters – Hammond’s 1963 Opel Kadett (named “Oliver”), which was featured in the Top Gear special episode in Botswana, as well as the latest Ferrari belonging to May – 458 Speciale.
As you can see from the video below, Ferrari 458 Speciale was the subject of a conversation between Sebastian Vettel and James May. During this time Richard pushed his car to be involved in the discussion.
Jeremy Clarkson was not seen in the area. It is unknown whether one of his private cars will appear in the final material.
Hammond and May are not only co-workers of Top Gear or The Grand Tour. In private, they are also friends and spend time together. Before recording the material for the new season, they were seen riding together on the Ferrari 458 Speciale before the cameras and microphones were mounted.
The premiere date of the third season of The Grand Tour has not yet been officially revealed. Amazon announced some time ago that it will be still in 2018, so we should expect a premiere in November or December. We will probably see 12 episodes and 1 special episode.
