When it comes to the cars in the catalogues, the date is often a little distorted, especially when it comes to performance and fuel consumption. However, the data of the new AMG G63 is not underestimated, but apparently slightly over-estimated.
The new Mercedes-AMG G63 is powered by a 4-litre dual turbocharged V8 engine that generates 585 hp of power and 850 Nm of maximum torque. According to the manufacturer, this allows a sprint of 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 136 mph (220 km/h) or 149 mph (240 km/h) with AMG driver package.
In reality it turns out that this time is significantly underestimated. ArabGT had the opportunity to test the new Edition 1 model and according to their time trial, the new Gelend in the top version speeds up to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just over 4 seconds, which is 0.5 seconds faster.
