Power stroke of 137 hp and 141 Nm.
Currently, the BMW 8 Series offers only two engine variants. There is a diesel engine available under the name 840d, and it is a 3-litre capacity unit with six cylinders that generates 335 hp and 680 Nm of power, while the other engine is a petrol 850i version that has a 4.4-litre V8 twin-turbo with 523 hp and 750 Nm of power underneath the hood.
For those who want something stronger will have in the M8 offer, but we will have to wait a bit longer for this. In the past we presented a tuning package from AC Schnitzer and a special PD800 package from Prior Design, but none of them can match the modifications offered by G-Power.
The German tuner has been working for several months on original modifications to the new BMW 8 Series, resulting in two Stage 1 and Stage 2 packages.
The first increases the power to 611 hp and 850 Nm, which is an increase in power by 88 hp and 100 Nm compared to the standard BMW 850i, and will most likely outperform the power and performance of the upcoming BMW M8.
G-Power has prepared one more and even more crazy package. Stage 2 is an increase in power to an impressive 660 hp and 890 Nm, which is a result of a 137 hp improvement in power and 141 Nm of maximum torque.
G-Power does not yet reveal exactly what modifications have been made under the bonnet of the BMW 850i, but we can expect a changed ECU, a new exhaust system and probably more efficient turbochargers have been used.
The performance and details of the vehicle’s construction will be revealed during the official presentation of the model.
